Land Use Resource Consents

The following information is provided as a guide only to assist you in understanding the land use resource consent application process at Waitakere City Council. Introduction

You need to consider how your proposal complies with the District Plan rules. If your building project or land use activity does not comply with the rules, you have two options. Firstly, you can amend your proposal so it complies with the rules (this may not always be possible). Secondly, you may choose to apply for resource consent.
